1H NMR study of inclusion compounds of phenylurea derivatives in β-cyclodextrin
Spectrochimica Acta Part A: Molecular and Biomolecular Spectroscopy, 2005Proton nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy ((1)H NMR), which has become an important tool for the study "in situ" of beta-cyclodextrin (beta-CD) complexes, was used to study and structurally characterize the inclusion complexes formed between beta-CD and isoproturon, fenuron, monuron and diuron.

The possibilities of using new chemically bonded anion-exchange (Silasorb DEA) and cation-exchange (Silasorb S) materials for high-performance liquid chromatography of phenylurea herbicide compounds were investigated. The columns packed with Silasorb DEA or with Silasorb S ion-exchange materials can be used for efficient separations in normal-phase ...

A liquid chromatography/electrospray ionization/mass spectrometry method was reported for the compliance analysis of seven phenylurea compounds and two related herbicides (tebuthiuron and propanil) in drinking water. The volumes of the sample and final extract used in the method were 500 mL and 10 mL, respectively.

The conformational preferences of two model anti-viral pharmaceuticals, phenylurea and 1,3-diphenylurea, isolated in the gas phase, have been explored using a combination of ultra-violet and infra-red ion-dip spectroscopy and quantum chemical computation. Two conformers have been assigned for each species associated with cis and trans configurations of

Synthesis of Imidazole Spiro Compounds From 5-Alkoxycarbonyl-1H-Pyrrole-2,3-Diones and Phenylurea
Chemistry of Heterocyclic Compounds, 20165-Alkoxycarbonyl-substituted 1H-pyrrole-2,3-diones react with phenylurea, forming alkyl 4-hydroxy-5-oxo-2-[(phenylcarbamoyl)amino]-2,5-dihydro-1H-pyrrole-2-carboxylates, which cyclize in the presence of sodium methoxide, giving 8-hydroxy-3-phenyl-1,3,6-triazaspiro[4.4]-non-8-ene-2,4,7-triones.

Hairy root cultures of Mitracarpus hirtus L. were obtained after transforming leaf-disc explants with wild strain Agrobacterium rhizogenes A13. The root cultures of M. hirtus showed high efficiency of shoot formation in both transformed and non-transformed cultures when illuminated with light.

The cytokinin‐like activity of the growth regulating chemical EDU, N‐[2‐(2‐oxo‐1‐imidazolidinyl)ethyl]‐N′‐phenylurea, was determined and compared with the actitivity of kinetin using the tobacco callus bioassay. EDU has a pronounced stimulatory effect on callus growth at concentrations of 5 × 10−4 and 1 × 10−3M but was 5 000 times less potent than the ...
