Return on Investment on PHM Systems
Return On Investment was calculated regarding a PHM system for a fleet of rolling stock. We show that the financial feasibility depends strongly on expected asset life as well as on the asset reliability model. The tool that was used for the analysis can be used for choosing the optimal PHM system for various assets.
