This study presents the de novo design and directed evolution of a mirror‐image D‐protein inhibitor targeting human interleukin‐4 (IL‐4). The engineered molecule exhibits nanomolar binding affinity for IL‐4 and effectively inhibits IL‐4–mediated signaling.

Enantioselective Coupling of Dienes and Phosphine Oxides.
We report a Pd-catalyzed intermolecular hydrophosphinylation of 1,3-dienes to afford chiral allylic phosphine oxides. Commodity dienes and air stable phosphine oxides couple to generate organophosphorus building blocks with high enantio- and regiocontrol.
