Antimony-Phosphomolybdate ATPase Assay
2016Hydrolytic activity is an important functional parameter of enzymes like adenosinetriphosphatases (ATPases). It is measured to test enzyme functionality, but it also provides useful information on possible inhibitory effects of molecules that interfere with the hydrolytic process.

Catalysis Today, 2008
A low-pressure steady-state technique has been used to investigate the rates and mechanisms of the oxidation of isobutane over H 3 [PMo 12 O 40 ], CuH 4 [PMo 12 O 40 ] 2 , Cu 2 H 2 [PMo 12 O 40 ]2, Cu 2.5 H[PMo 12 O 40 ] 2 , and Cu 3 [PMo 12 O 40 ] 2 .

Elastic Properties of Alkali Phosphomolybdate Glasses
Journal of the American Ceramic Society, 1989Ultrasonic velocities at 10 MHz have been measured in two series of lithium, sodium, and potassium phosphomolybdate glasses with two fixed P 2 O 5 concentrations. Elastic moduli, Poisson's ratio, and Debye temperature have been calculated.

Elastic properties of lead phosphomolybdate glasses
Materials Research Bulletin, 1988Elastic properties of lead phosphomolybdate [PbO-1bMoO3-1bP2O5] glasses have been investigated using ultrasonic velocity measurements at 10MHz. The composition dependence of elastic moduli, Poisson's ratio and the Debye temperature are found to be consistent with a structural model proposed earlier.

Ultra-violet Absorption of Reduced Phosphomolybdate
Nature, 1951ESTIMATION of phosphate with molybdate in the presence of a reducing agent is a well-established colorimetric method. Using excess of phosphomolybdate, reducing substances can also be estimated. This method was used by Briggs1 for hydroquinone and by Neuberger2 for homogentisic acid.

Elaboration and characterization of glassy cobalt phosphomolybdates
Solid State Sciences, 2003Abstract Selecting two series of P2O5-based oxide glasses containing at the same time the MoO3 and CoO oxides, an investigation of structural properties has been undertaken by infrared (IR) and electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) spectroscopies. The structure of glasses inside the CoO–MoO3–P2O5 system may be considered as made of several types of ...

Separation of phosphomolybdate by affinity chromatography
Journal of Solid-Phase Biochemistry, 1976A new method of separating phosphomolybdate from phosphoric esters and anhydrides using a small column of polyvinylpolypyrrolidone is introduced. When a mixture of phosphate compounds and ammonium molybdate (1–3%, pH 3-5) is poured onto such a column, inorganic orthophosphate (Pi)p1 is selectively adsorbed onto the column material as phosphomolybdate ...

The adsorption of ammonium heptamolybdate (AHM) on phosphated alumina and of P{sub 2}Mo{sub 5}O{sub 23}{sup 6{minus}} and PMo{sub 12}O{sub 40}{sup 3{minus}} on {gamma}-Al{sub 2}O{sub 3} has been studied by using FTIR, Raman, and {sup 31}P solid-state NMR spectroscopies, and TPR.

An Assessment of Electronic Exchange in Phosphomolybdates
MRS Proceedings, 1990ABSTRACTIn the synthesis of polyacrylates, a necessary step involves the conversion of acroleins to acrylic acids- a process catalysed by Mo oxides. We have directed our work towards the elucidation of the electronic structure of the most stable structure of 12-heteromolybdate, ie.

Tetravalent Metal Complexation by Keggin and Lacunary Phosphomolybdate Anions
Inorganic Chemistry, 2008We report the synthesis, spectroscopic and structural characterization, and computational analysis of a series of phosphomolybdate complexes with tetravalent metal cations. The reaction between Ce (IV) and Th (IV) with phosphomolybdate at the optimum pH for the stabilization of the lacunary heteropolyoxometalate anion, [PMo 11O 39] (7-), results in the
