Advances in the Different Synthetic Routes of Fluorinated Hydrazines

open access: yesThe Chemical Record, EarlyView.
This review highlights the various routes to the preparation of fluorinated hydrazines, thereby promoting the exploration of innovative methods for the synthesis of new N‐fluorinated hydrazines. Their synthesis mainly involves synthetic routes such as organometallic, organocatalytic, and photocatalytic.

Alternatives to copper-based treatments for the control of grapevine downy mildew (Plasmopara viticola): 5-year synthesis of trials in France and Italy [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
The objective of the UE-funded program REPCO (FP6) was to identify new alternatives to copper fungicides in organic farming. Two pathogens have been considered: grapevine downy mildew (Plasmopara viticola) and apple scab (Venturia inaequalis).

Polyaniline as a dual flame retardant and electrostatic dissipative additive in polyethylene nanocomposites

open access: yesJournal of Vinyl and Additive Technology, Volume 31, Issue 2, Page 339-355, March 2025.
Effecft of co‐doping polyaniline with phosphoric acid and phytic acid on the heat release rate of polyethylene. Abstract Polyolefins, such as polyethylene (PE), are highly flammable and electrically insulative, limiting their applicability. The study explored the flame‐retardancy and electrical conductivity of PE/polyaniline (PE/PANI) nanocomposites ...

Structure Analysis and Luminescence Properties of Octaethyl(pyrene-tetrakis(biphenyl))tetrakis(phosphonate)

open access: yesCrystals
We present a modular building block strategy for synthesizing phosphonated polyaromatic systems as an alternative to the conventional late-stage phosphonation of prefabricated aromatic scaffolds, which often requires harsh conditions and has limited ...

The Combined Effect of Gas Phase and Condensed Phase Mechanisms in Flame Retardancy of Polybutylene Succinate

open access: yesJournal of Vinyl and Additive Technology, EarlyView.
A combination of DOPO and APP flame‐retardants results in a V‐0 UL 94 rating. ABSTRACT In this study, we addressed the challenge of eliminating, during combustion, the flaming dripping behavior of polybutylene succinate flame retarded with ammonium polyphosphate, a key barrier to achieving a V‐0 rating in the UL 94 flammability test without excessive ...

Translocation of phosphonate from frigoplants to fruits in strawberries [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
We analysed the phosphonate contents in commercially available strawberry frigoplants and in the fruits grown on these plants. The results show that phosphonates can be translocated from frigoplants to fruits.

Novel approaches for drug development against chronic primary pain: A systematic review

open access: yesBritish Journal of Pharmacology, EarlyView.
Abstract Chronic primary pain (CPP) persisting for more than 3 months, associated with significant emotional distress without any known underlying cause, is an unmet medical need. Traditional or adjuvant analgesics do not provide satisfactory pain relief for a great proportion of these patients.

A Low‐Permeability TEMPO‐Phosphate as an Anionic Posolyte for Aqueous Redox‐Flow Batteries

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, Volume 138, Issue 14, 27 March 2026.
Phosphate groups are appended to TEMPO‐based active materials for use in aqueous redox‐flow batteries. In addition to improving water‐solubility, these dianionic groups are strongly repelled by the cation‐exchange membrane, thus greatly reducing TEMPO crossover.

Tunable crystal structure and proton conductivity of lanthanide nitrilotrismethylphosphonates [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
Metal phosphonates are multifunctional solids with remarkable stability and proton conducting properties owing to their structure is usually composed of extended hydrogen-bond networks that favor proton transfer pathways [1]. Moreover, these properties

Harnessing benzamides as plant stress inhibitors, growth promoters and in management of crop resilience—A review

open access: yesPlant Biology, EarlyView.
Benzamides boost crop resilience by inhibiting poly(ADP‐ribose) polymerase (PARP) to enhance stress tolerance and, through their antimicrobial, herbicidal, and insecticidal derivatives, they offer broad protection for sustainable crop improvement. Abstract Benzamides have emerged as potent stress inhibitors and growth promoters in plant biotechnology ...
