Post‐Translational Modifications of Key Proteins in Hematologic Malignancies: Carcinogenic Mechanisms, Biomarker Potential, and New Therapeutic Strategies

open access: yesiLABMED, EarlyView.
This article reviews the pivotal role of post‐translational modifications of proteins in the development and progression of hematologic malignancies, and explores their clinical translation potential as novel biomarkers and therapeutic targets. ABSTRACT Post‐translational modifications (PTMs) of proteins have emerged as critical regulators in the ...

Biomimetic mineralization‐inspired formulation‐adjuvant integrated circRNA nanovaccine against COVID‐19

open access: yesInterdisciplinary Medicine, EarlyView.
Inspired by the role of Mg2+ in stabilizing RNA secondary structures, we developed a one‐pot biomimetic mineralization method for synthesizing a circular RNA‐based nanovaccine (circRNA@FAiNVac) that integrates formulation and adjuvant functions. This nanovaccine exhibits potent immunostimulatory activation enabling multimodal immune responses and ...

Enhanced peripheral blood mononuclear cell lipid metabolism drives poor immunotherapy response via ferroptotic stress‐induced T cell exhaustion in hepatocellular carcinoma

open access: yesInterdisciplinary Medicine, EarlyView.
Integrated multi‐omics reveals that CD36‐mediated lipid overload in PBMCs drives T cell exhaustion via sub‐lethal ferroptotic stress and AKT suppression. This systemic metabolic signature serves as a robust predictor of immunotherapy response in HCC, suggesting that modulating lipid metabolism can rescue immune fitness.

Structural Description of the Nipah Virus Phosphoprotein and Its Interaction with STAT1

open access: yes, 2020
International audienceThe structural characterization of modular proteins containing long intrinsically disordered regions intercalated with folded domains is complicated by their conformational diversity and flexibility and requires the integration of ...

Ion Activation Methods for Top‐Down Proteomics

open access: yesMass Spectrometry Reviews, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Mass spectrometry (MS) has emerged as a premier method used to characterize the sequences of proteins. Top‐down proteomics aims to capture the multiple sources of structural diversity reflected in proteins, such as those that arise from alternative RNA splicing events or the addition of post‐translational modifications. Tandem MS (i.e., MS/MS)

Conditional Modeling of GNAO1 Disorder Dissociates Circuit Specific Contributions to Pathology and Rationalizes Ameliorative Strategies

open access: yesMovement Disorders, EarlyView.
Abstract Background Neurodevelopmental disorders feature various symptoms that frequently include seizures and motor manifestations, but their attribution to disruptions of specific circuits and molecular alterations is notoriously hard to establish, which limits therapeutic interventions.
