An atomic absorption spectrometric method for the determination of phosphorus in foodstuffs using the bismuth phosphomolybdate complex [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of the Serbian Chemical Society, 2000
A new indirect AAS method using the bismuth phosphomolybdate complex for the determination of phosphorus in foodstuffs is suggested. The bismuth phosphomolybdate complex in acid medium was extacted with isobutyl methylketone and the phosphorus ...

Fast Quantification of Phosphorus in Crude Soybean Oil by Near-Infrared Spectroscopy [PDF]

open access: yesShipin Kexue, 2023
The existing methods for the determination of phosphorus content are unable to regulate the addition of acid and base in the refining process of crude soybean oil through real-time monitoring.

Spectrophotometric determination of phosphorus in coal and coal ash using bismuth-phosphomobybdate complex [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of the Serbian Chemical Society, 2003
A modified spectrophotometric method using the bismuth phosphomolybdate complex for the determination of phosphorus in coal and coal ash is suggested. Bismuth together with phosphate and molybdate forms a very stable complex in acid medium which turns ...

Urinary inorganic phosphorus determinations [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Clinical Pathology, 1972
The Parekh-Jung method for determination of inorganic phosphorus in serum was applied to its determination in urine. Accuracy is good. The mean percentage recovery of added phosphorus was 100·2%. Forty analyses of a sample gave a mean value of 46·71 mg/100 ml ± 0·76 standard deviation (between-batch precision).

Determination of phosphorus compounds in plant tissues: from colourimetry to advanced instrumental analytical chemistry

open access: yesPlant Methods, 2022
Although the spectrum of effective methods and techniques that allow determination of inorganic or total phosphorus is impressive, more precise analysis of these substances in plant tissues is not a routine or trivial task.

Pretreatment Method for Determination of Kalium and Phosphorus in High Oil and Grease and Non-oil Plant Samples by Inductively Coupled Plasma-Optical Emission Spectrometry

open access: yesYankuang ceshi, 2023
BACKGROUND The determination of kalium and phosphorus in plant samples is usually carried out by high-pressure sealed microwave digestion-inductively coupled plasma-optical emission spectrometry (ICP-OES).However, complex matrices can increase the ...

Nutrient Balance of Phosphorus in Long-Term Field Experiment

open access: yesActa Universitatis Agriculturae et Silviculturae Mendelianae Brunensis, 2022
Phosphorus is a major nutrient for plants and the determination of available phosphorus in soil is necessary for agricultural practices. Phosphorus balance in soil was assessed in the long-term stationary experiment at Hněvčeves from 1980 to 2015.

Determining Inorganic and Organic Phosphorus [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
Phosphorus (P) is a macronutrient for all microalgal species, and the main form of uptake is orthophosphate (PO4). In this chapter we present a colorimetric method for determining the PO4 concentration and dissolved organic phosphorus (DOP) based on total phosphorus (TP) measurements.

Quantitative analysis of phospholipids and phospholipid fatty acids from silica gel thin-layer chromatograms

open access: yesJournal of Lipid Research, 1965
An improved procedure for the quantitative assay of phospholipids separated by TLC is described, in which a specially washed Silica Gel H and a newly designed chromatography unit are employed.Analysis of phospholipid phosphorus and phospholipid fatty ...
