Photopatch testing: Clinical characteristics, test results, and final diagnoses from the North American Contact Dermatitis Group, 2009–2020

Among 454 North American patients referred for photopatch testing between 2009 and 2020, nearly 20% were diagnosed with photoallergic contact dermatitis. Sunscreens, particularly benzophenones, were by far the most common photoallergens (almost 90% of positive photopatch tests).
