Optoelectronic Mesoporous Titania Memristor with Light‐Modulation by Laser Pointer

open access: yesAdvanced Physics Research, Volume 4, Issue 11, November 2025.
Optoelectronic synaptic device based on thin film mesoporous titania is demonstrated as visual sensing layer under illumination of low power laser pointers, which could modulate weight change of input signal. Through both photonic and electronic co‐modulation on the Al/meso‐TiO2/ITO device array, multiple hand writings “3” and “5” by laser pointer ...

Onion extract and grape seed powder as antioxidants to improve growth: Evidence from studies with oxidative stressed intestinal and liver cells as well as growing broilers

open access: yesJSFA reports, Volume 5, Issue 11, Page 400-413, November 2025.
Abstract Background Oxidative stress negatively impacts the growth, health, and overall welfare of animals. Plant extracts have great potential in mitigating oxidative stress. This study aims to evaluate the antioxidant capacities of onion extract and grape seed powder in vitro, and the potential benefits of a polyphenol product (obtained from onion ...

Recent Developments in Organic Radical Inclusion in MOFs and Radical MOFs

open access: yesChemistryOpen, Volume 14, Issue 11, November 2025.
Inclusion of organic radicals in porous materials offers an opportunity to tailor properties that include stability of radicals, conductivity, sensing, and catalysis. Similarly, radical metal‐organic frameworks (MOFs) are synthesised to enhance or create such properties.

Silatrane Functional Rubds‐Based Catalyst for Stabilized Heterogenized Water Oxidation

open access: yesChemElectroChem, Volume 12, Issue 19, October 3, 2025.
This study synthesizes a single‐molecule heterogeneous catalyst based on Ru‐bds with silatrane functional groups. This catalyst can be stably adsorbed on semiconductor interfaces, enabling a stable, long‐lasting, and efficient water oxidation process without the need for protective measures.

Isolation and Identification of Spoilage Fungi from Green Lemons and Their Inhibition by UV-LED-Induced Composite Coating Solution [PDF]

open access: yesShipin Kexue
This study sought to address the problem that green lemons are highly perishable after harvest in Tongnan, Chongqing. Three spoilage fungal strains (F1, F2, and F3) isolated from naturally decayed green lemons were identified by morphological observation

Micropropagation of Baccharis antioquensis (Asteraceae) and photoinduction of polyphenols by UV radiation

open access: yesRevista de Biología Tropical, 2018
Polyphenols are a large diversity of chemical types and interactions that can be responsible for a multiplicity of protective functions ranging from toxicity and light/UV shielding to signal transduction. Bacharis antioquensis has been described as a potential source of new photoprotective compounds with antioxidant capacity associated to polyphenols ...
