Investigation of photoinduced formation of microstructures on the surface of carbaseole-containing azopolymer depending on the power density of incident beams [PDF]
In this paper we synthesized and measured optical characteristics of an azopolymer based on the polymer N-epoxypropylcarbazole and chromophore 4 - (4-nytrophenylazo)-aniline.

An optically activated cantilever using photomechanical effects in dye-doped polymer fibers
We report on what we believe is the first demonstration of an optically activated cantilever due to photomechanical effects in a dye-doped polymer optical fiber. The fiber is observed to bend when light is launched off-axis.

Photoswitchable Conductive Metal–Organic Frameworks
A conductive material where the conductivity can be modulated remotely by irradiation with light is presented. It is based on films of conductive metal–organic framework type Cu3(HHTP)2 with embedded photochromic molecules such as azobenzene, diarylethene, spiropyran, and hexaarylbiimidazole in the pores.

Semiclassical model of ultrafast photoisomerization reactions
In this letter we propose a model which explains ultrafast and efficient photoisomerization reactions as driven by transitions between quasistationary states of one dimensional (1D) double well potential of an excited electronic state.

Photoswitching Conduction in Framework Materials
This mini‐review summarizes recent advances in state‐of‐the‐art proton and electron conduction in framework materials that can be remotely and reversibly switched on and off by light. It discusses the various photoswitching conduction mechanisms and the strategies employed to enhance photoswitched conductivity.

Coordination Programming of Photofunctional Molecules
Our recent achievements relating to photofunctional molecules are addressed. Section 1 discloses a new concept of photoisomerization. Pyridylpyrimidine-copper complexes undergo a ring inversion that can be modulated by the redox state of the copper ...
