The famous 1927 Solvay Conference was considered a turning point in the world of Physics. The scientific realists like Albert Einstein had lost and the instrumentalists like Niels Bohr had won the fundamental conflict. Since then Physics has followed the path of the instrumentalists in which Quantum Physics has been determined by the concept of ...

This study presents a methodology to reveal traces of viral particles, as aerosol with known chemical and molecular structure, in a sample by means of photon and electron interactions. The method is based on Monte Carlo simulations and on the analysis of

Soft photon yield in nuclear interactions
First results of the study of a soft photon yield in nucleus-nucleus collisions at 3.5 GeV per nucleon at Nuclotron (LHEP, JINR) are presented. These photons are registered by an BGO electromagnetic calorimeter built by the SVD-2 Collaboration.

Constraints on CP-Odd ALP Couplings from EDM Limits of Fermions
We discuss constraints on soft CP-violating couplings of axion-like particles with photon and fermions by using data on electric dipole moments of standard model particles.

Scattering-Based Geometric Shaping of Photon-Photon Interactions
We construct an effective Hamiltonian of interacting bosons, based on scattered radiation off vibrational modes of designed molecular architectures. Making use of the infinite yet countable set of spatial modes representing the scattering of light, we obtain a variable photon-photon interaction in this basis.

Loss of the miR‐214/199a cluster is associated with recurrence in ovarian cancer. Engineered small extracellular vesicles (m214‐sEVs) elevate miR‐214‐3p/miR‐199a‐5p in tumor cells, suppress β‐catenin, TLR4, and YKT6 signaling, reprogram tumor‐derived sEV cargo, reduce chemoresistance and migration, and enhance carboplatin efficacy and survival in ...

Collective Enhancement of Photon Blockade via Two-Photon Interactions
Photon blockade—the suppression of multiphoton transmission by quantum nonlinearities—enables on-demand nonclassical light, but it typically requires strong single-emitter coupling and does not improve by simply adding more emitters.

We have established a humanized orthotopic patient‐derived xenograft (Hu‐oPDX) mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSOC) that recapitulates human tumor–immune interactions. Using combined anti‐PD‐L1/anti‐CD73 immunotherapy, we demonstrate the model's improved biological relevance and enhanced translational value for preclinical ...

Photon momentum transfer and partitioning: from one to many
The transfer of photon momentum is indispensable in initiating and directing light-matter interactions, which underpins a plethora of fundamental physical processes from laser cooling to laser particle acceleration.
