Enhancing Photonic Spin Hall Effect in the Surface Plasmon Resonance Structure Covered by the Graphene–MoS2 Heterostructure

open access: yesIEEE Photonics Journal, 2017
Due to the weak spin–orbit interaction, the photonic spin Hall effect (SHE) is generally very weak, which is disadvantageous for potential applications of nanophotonic devices.

Photonic spin hall shift manipulation at the graphene atomic medium

open access: yesAin Shams Engineering Journal
This study reports the manipulation of photonic spin hall shift at the graphene medium that lies between two mirrors. The incoming probe light engages with a cavity filled with four levels graphene medium.

Spin-orbit photonics in a fixed cavity: Harnessing Bogoliubov modes of a Bose-Einstein condensate

open access: yesSciPost Physics Core
We present a theoretical investigation of spin-orbit photonics within a fixed mirror cavity system containing a Bose-Einstein condensate (BEC), in which the Bogoliubov excitation modes of the condensate are treated as effective mechanical oscillators. By

Inverse Spin Thermal Hall Effect in Nonreciprocal Photonic Systems

open access: yesPhysical Review Letters
A transverse radiative heat flux induced by the gradient of spin angular momentum of photons in non-reciprocal systems is predicted. This thermal analog of the inverse spin Hall effect is analyzed in magneto-optical networks exhibiting C4 symmetry, under the action of spatially variable external magnetic fields.
