Photon Propagation as a Probe for Fundamental Physics

open access: yes, 2009
In this thesis we show how light propagation can be used in order to constrain particle physics models beyond the Standard Model. We study in particular the effects of non standard physics on the polarization of cosmic microwave background radiation ...

Electromagnetic processes at the LHC : nuclear parton distributions from deep inelastic pair production and exclusive photoproduction of single W bosons [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
Ultra-peripheral collisions at ion colliders, such as the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) at CERN, offer the possibility to study electromagnetic processes at hitherto unexplored energies.

Non-coherent Photons Evolving to Coherent Photons in Same Classical Wave Experiments --- Photon Wave Phenomena

open access: yes, 2023
We experimentally show that: in the same classical wave experiment, (1) the light is photons;  blob:https://www.techrxiv.org/2498c0ca-197a-4f4a-a278-2d1886734983 (2) near the double slit, although we assume the photons have the same frequency and phase ...

Band Alignment in In‐Oxo Metal Porphyrin SURMOF Heterojunctions

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, Volume 36, Issue 43, 29 May 2026.
Porphyrin core metalation in indium‑oxo SURMOFs enables systematic tuning of band edge positions without altering the crystal structure. First‑principles calculations reveal type‑I and type‑II heterostructures as well as multi‑junction energy cascades, establishing a modular strategy for exciton funneling and charge separation in optoelectronic ...

Relativistic Study of Motion of Photons in an Elliptical Gravitational Field [PDF]

open access: yesPhysics Access
Fields of elliptical objects can be considered elliptically symmetric, such that the structure, matter, and field of such an object can be defined in terms of an elliptically symmetric space metric.

Photons and temporality in quantum electrodynamics [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
The lowest order processes described within quantum electrodynamics are free from the problem with infinities in the theory, and can be dealt with disregarding the need for charge and mass renormalization.

Magnetic Control of Chiral Hybridized Phonon Magnetic Moments in Ferrimagnets Fe2‐xZnxMo3O8

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Helicity‐resolved magneto‐Raman spectroscopy reveals magnetic control of chiral phonon magnetic moments in polar ferrimagnet (ZnxFe2−xMo3O₈). Large spontaneous zero‐field phonon splittings, selective phonon–magnon coupling, and asymmetric Zeeman responses demonstrate that phonon chirality is governed by magnon‐phonon coupling and magnetization.
