Age‐Related Characteristics of SYT1‐Associated Neurodevelopmental Disorder
ABSTRACT Objectives We describe the clinical manifestations and developmental abilities of individuals with SYT1‐associated neurodevelopmental disorder (Baker‐Gordon syndrome) from infancy to adulthood. We further describe the neuroradiological and electrophysiological characteristics of the condition at different ages, and explore the associations ...

Hospital Readmission After Traumatic Brain Injury Hospitalization in Community‐Dwelling Older Adults
ABSTRACT Objective To examine the risk of hospital readmission after an index hospitalization for TBI in older adults. Methods Using data from the Atherosclerosis Risk in Communities (ARIC) study, we used propensity score matching of individuals with an index TBI‐related hospitalization to individuals with (1) non‐TBI hospitalizations (primary analysis)

Synthesis of symmetric paths of arbiter physically unclonable function on FPGA
Physical cryptography is one of the current trends among the existing methods of protecting digital devices from illegal access. Circuit design solutions in physical cryptography are called digital physically unclonable functions (PUFs), which to be ...

Discrete Physics: a new way to look at cryptography
This paper shows that Physics is very close to the substitution-diffusion paradigm of symmetric ciphers. Based on this analogy, we propose a new cryptographic algorithm. Statistical Physics gives design principles to devise fast, scalable and secure encryption systems. In particular, increasing space dimension and considering larger data blocks improve

Remote Assessment of Ataxia Severity in SCA3 Across Multiple Centers and Time Points
ABSTRACT Objective Spinocerebellar ataxia type 3 (SCA3) is a genetically defined ataxia. The Scale for Assessment and Rating of Ataxia (SARA) is a clinician‐reported outcome that measures ataxia severity at a single time point. In its standard application, SARA fails to capture short‐term fluctuations, limiting its sensitivity in trials.

ABSTRACT Background Accessing brain magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) can be challenging, especially for underserved patients, which may lead to disparities in neurological diagnosis. Method This mixed‐methods study enrolled adults with one of four neurological disorders: mild cognitive impairment or dementia of the Alzheimer type, multiple sclerosis ...

We report the national burden of dermatopolymyositis mortality over the past quarter century using the US national vital statistics data. Age‐standardized mortality rates for dermatopolymyositis decreased at an annual rate of 3.8% each year, which was higher than the annual percent decrease for deaths from all other causes.

Oblivious transfer based on physical unclonable function system
Oblivious transfer (OT) is a fundamental protocol in cryptography. According to the analysis of physical un-clonable function, a physical unclonable function system framework was defined, and a novel oblivious transfer (POT, PUFS based OT) protocol was ...
