TRIM24 and TRIM28 are androgen receptor (AR) coregulators which exhibit increased expression with cancer progression. Both TRIM24 and TRIM28 combine to influence the response of castrate‐resistant prostate cancer (CRPC) cells to AR inhibitors by mediating AR signalling, regulation of MYC and upregulating VEGF to promote angiogenesis. Castrate‐resistant

Designing for Social and Physical Interaction in Exertion Games [PDF]
Exertion games lend themselves to facilitating social and physical interactions, in particular when compared to button-press games. However, there is little understanding of how specific aspects of an exertion game’s design can facilitate these social and physical interactions.

Understanding and measuring mechanical signals in the tumor stroma
This review discusses cancer‐associated fibroblast subtypes and their functions, particularly in relation to extracellular matrix production, as well as the development of 3D models to study tumor stroma mechanics in vitro. Several quantitative techniques to measure tissue mechanical properties are also described, to emphasize the diagnostic and ...

The tumor microenvironment is a dynamic, multifaceted complex system of interdependent cellular, biochemical, and biophysical components. Three‐dimensional in vitro models of the tumor microenvironment enable a better understanding of these interactions and their impact on cancer progression and therapeutic resistance.

The impact of frailty syndrome on skeletal muscle histology: preventive effects of exercise
Frailty syndrome exacerbates skeletal muscle degeneration via increased ECM deposition and myofiber loss. This study, using a murine model, demonstrates that endurance exercise attenuates these histopathological alterations, preserving muscle integrity. Findings support exercise as a viable strategy to counteract frailty‐induced musculoskeletal decline

Weight issues during submarine deployments
Physical activity onboard the diesel-electric submarines is as it is restricted due to lack of space onboard. In the absence of physical activity, one would expect the weight of the submarine crew to increase during the period of deployment at sea ...

On repulsive gravitational actions [PDF]
In particular instances and in particular regions the Einsteinian gravity exerts a repulsive action -- and without any cosmological term. This fact could have an interest for the explanation of the dark energy, and for the gravitational collapses.
