Surface‐initiated photoiniferter‐mediated polymerization (SI‐PIMP) enables the controlled growth of UHMW polymer brushes with multi‐micrometer thicknesses, bridging conventional brushes and bulk‐like coatings. UHMW brushes are synthesized through a controlled/living process; they provide low friction and enhanced wear resistance under aqueous ...

Acid Site Design for Low Hydration Proton Exchange Membranes
α‐CF2 substitution adjacent to sulfonic acid increases acid strength and enables efficient proton transport under low hydration conditions. This molecular design reduces the dependence of hydrocarbon proton exchange membranes on excessive water uptake, addressing a key limitation of conventional hydrocarbon PEMs while maintaining favorable conductivity

Temperature and Physicochemical Properties of Abnormal Heating Composite Insulators
Abnormal heating will reduce the insulation performance of composite insulators or even cause insulator fracture, and the abnormal heating phenomenon is more serious under high-humidity conditions. Therefore, in this paper, the voltage withstand test of abnormal heating composite insulators caused by aging and damp sheath, decay-like core rod, and ...

Comparison of Physicochemical Composition of Kohlrabi Flesh and Peel
This study was investigated to compare the major chemical components of kohlrabi (Brassica oleracea var. gongylodes) flesh and kohlrabi peel. Among the proximate compositions, the crude fat of kohlrabi peel contained lower than that of kohlrabi flesh, while the contents of carbohydrate and the crude protein were higher in the kohlrabi peel.
