Life‐Like Ferrous Oxide Microspheres from Kombucha
Advanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.Kombucha bacterial cellulose, sodium alginate, and ferrous nitrate self‐assemble into membrane‐enclosed iron oxide microspheres. These microspheres bud daughter vesicles, sustain 24‐h electrochemical oscillations, and filter theta‐band signals.

Advanced Optical Materials, EarlyView.Metallic dimer antennas on top of the phase‐change material Ge3Sb2Te6 are addressed with laser pulses, resulting in inhomogeneous crystallization. A self‐consistent multiphysics model is employed to simulate the crystallization and to understand the resulting shift of the antenna resonance.

Polychip‐A High‐Throughput Droplet Microfluidics Platform for Interrogating Microbial Interactions
Advanced Science, EarlyView.Polychip, a fully integrated droplet microfluidics platform, enables high‐throughput, single‐cell resolution screening of polymicrobial interactions. By seamlessly combining six automated microfluidics operations on a single chip, the system accelerates antimicrobial discovery by 11 to 14 times compared to traditional robotic methods.
