Dual Beneficial Effects of Topical l‐Glutamine on Oral Mucositis in 5‐Fluorouracil‐Treated Mice
ABSTRACT Background Oral mucositis is a severe health and economic problem that occurs in about 40%–90% of patients undergoing cancer treatments. Systemic or topical application of l‐glutamine has been shown to improve mucosal healing and ameliorate oral mucositis (OM) symptoms according to clinical score systems.

Sixty years after the introduction of dental implants, it is clear that soft‐tissue integration is as essential as osseointegration. Abstract Orthotopic allograft transplantation (OAT) is a significant approach to addressing organ failure. However, persistent immune responses to the allograft affect chronic rejection, which induces OAT vasculopathy (OATV) and organ failure. Porphyromonas gingivalis can infiltrate remote organs via the bloodstream, thereby intensifying the severity ...

The study evaluated different treatments for calcaneal tendinopathy in rats, focusing on the gastrocnemius muscle. Photobiomodulation (PBM), advanced platelet‐rich fibrin (A‐PRF), and their combination were tested. Treated animals showed improved muscle strength between 7 and 21 days, but without significant recovery of muscle fibers.

Abstract Previous studies have demonstrated that mammalian target of rapamycin (mTOR) activity is significantly increased in the kidneys of Dahl salt‐sensitive (SS) rats during the development of renal injury. Therefore, in the present study we examined whether blockade of mTOR with rapamycin inhibits renal injury in Dahl salt‐sensitive leptin receptor

Abstract The kidneys regulate fluid balance but are susceptible to adverse effects of inadequate hydration. Epidemiological studies have linked low water intake to renal dysfunction and chronic kidney disease. Previously we showed that restricting water intake to a single 2‐h period daily for 4 weeks promotes hypertension as well as renal inflammation,

Picrosirius Red (PSR) Staining and Quantification in Mouse Ovaries v1
Picrosirius Red (PSR) staining is used to visualize collagen fibers in various tissues. When PSR binds to collagen fibers (specifically collagen I and III), it results in a dark red stain whereas the cytoplasmic regions appear yellow or faintly pink [1, 2].Generally, ovarian non-fibrotic regions stain darker pink than liver non-fibrotic regions ...
