A novel temperature compensated piezoresistive pressure sensor

Abstract The main drawback of current piezoresistive pressure sensors is the drop of output voltage with increase in the operating temperature which severely reduces the measurement accuracy. This paper presents a novel passive technique for temperature compensation of silicon piezoresistive pressure sensors.

Piezomistive pressure sensors were fabricated and rested dectdcdy at MIMOS foundry. The CMOS integrared circuit processing facilities were used to form the piemresistive senmr. The eicctricd testing was done using source measuring unit (SMU) of Agiient 4070 and &gird mdtimetcr (DMM) of A&nt 3458A.

Thermo Mechanical Modeling of Piezoresistive Pressure Sensor

In this paper we investigate the thermo mechanical behavior of a silicon piezoresistive pressure sensor. The totally built-in thin silicon membrane sensor response computation under constant and uniform pressure assuming small deflections have been determined using Finite Element Analysis (FEA) made in COMSOL.
