Magnetic Force Microscopy Signatures of Higher‐Order Skyrmions and Antiskyrmions
Magnetic force microscopy operated under vacuum conditions enables the qualitative identification of higher‐order skyrmions and antiskyrmions in Co/Ni multilayers at room temperature. Distinct stray‐field contrast signatures arise from vertical Bloch lines and complex domain‐wall configurations.

Covalent organic frameworks (COFs) with metals have been recognized as versatile platforms for photocatalytic CO2 reduction (CO2PRR). Herein, an overview of metal integration strategies for COFs is systematically summarized. Regulatory mechanisms and structure–activity relationships between metal integration and COF‐based CO2PRR are emphasized.

Model tests on 3D soil arching in pile-supported embankments with and without geotextile
Compared to traditional soil improvement methods such as preloading, vertical drains, or grouting injection, et al., pile-supported reinforced embankments are increasing widely employed in the construction of highways on soft soils.

Transfer Length of Strands in Prestressed Concrete Piles [PDF]
A top bar effect has been identified in prestressed concrete piles. The effect that this top bar effect has on the development of the prestressing strand is investigated. Strand transfer length is found to be proportional to the observed end slip.

Mapping Nanoscale Buckling in Atomically Thin Cr2Ge2Te6
Atomic‐resolution STEM is used to resolve nanoscale buckling in monolayer Cr2Ge2Te₆. A noise‐robust image analysis reconstructs three‐dimensional lattice distortions from single plan‐view images, revealing pronounced defect‐driven nm‐scale out‐of‐plane buckling.

MAGTWIST: A compact magnetic rotary actuator, enabling smooth, stepless rotation, and on‐demand locking. Inspired by peristalsis, a soft polymer belt generates a traveling‐wave, enabling 270° rotation when heated. Cooling stiffens the belt, locking it in position and enabling it to withstand high loads.

Liquid‐phase transmission electron microscopy enables direct observation of nucleation and growth processes in solution. This review is dedicated to the remembrance of Helmut Cölfen and highlights recent studies on complex materials—oxides, biominerals, organic–inorganic crystals—which were central to his research activity. It summarizes key milestones,

Numerical analysis of two pile caps with sockets embedded, subject the eccentric compression load
The structural behavior of pile caps with sockets embedded is influenced by interface of column-socket, which can be smooth or rough. With intent to analyze the behavior of two pile caps with embedded socket, considering the friction between the column ...
