Saturated and Pinched Ferroelectric Hysteresis Loops in BiFeO3 Ceramics

Journal of the Korean Physical Society, 2019
BiFeO3 (BFO) ceramics were prepared by conventional solid-state reaction method without quenching. The effect of the sintering condition on the phase evolution and the ferroelectric properties of these BFO ceramics were investigated. A pinched polarization - electric field (P-E) hysteresis loop was observed in the sample sintered at high temperature ...

Computing Areas of Pinched Hysteresis Loops of Mem-Systems in OrCAD PSPICE

Applied Mechanics and Materials, 2013
The pinched hysteresis loop belongs to the fingerprints of the so-called mem-systems, their well-known special cases being memristors. The memory effect of the system is determined by the area of the curve lobes which gradually decrease with increasing repeating frequency of the excitation signal.

Polarization Mechanism in Filled Tungsten Bronze Ba4Eu2Ti4Nb6O30 with Pinched P – E Hysteresis Loops

Chinese Physics Letters, 2021
Pinched P–E hysteresis loops have been observed in filled tungsten bronze Ba4Eu2Ti4Nb6O30, indicating the presence of novel polarization mechanisms. We investigate the evolution of polar order in filled tungsten bronze Ba4Eu2Ti4Nb6O30, together with its dielectric properties over a wide temperature range, from 50 K to 773 K. The temperature dependences

On the mechanism of creating pinched hysteresis loops using a commercial memristor device

AEU - International Journal of Electronics and Communications, 2019
Abstract In this short communication we analyze the impact of signal harmonics on the formation of the pinched hysteresis loop using a commercial memristor device. We show that by using only the fundamental frequency and the second harmonic components, extracted from the measured electrical current signal, a distortion-less pinched hysteresis loop is

Chua Corsage Memristor: Phase Portraits, Basin of Attraction, and Coexisting Pinched Hysteresis Loops

International Journal of Bifurcation and Chaos, 2017
The Chua Corsage Memristor is the simplest example of a passive but locally active memristor endowed with two asymptotically stable equilibrium points [Formula: see text] and [Formula: see text] when powered by an E-volt battery, where [Formula: see text]. The basin of attraction is defined by [Formula: see text], [Formula: see text] for [Formula: see

Microstructure, dielectric anomaly and pinched hysteresis loops of grain-oriented KSr2Nb5O15 ferroelectric ceramics

Journal of Materials Science: Materials in Electronics, 2018
Dense KSr2Nb5O15 (KSN) ferroelectric ceramics with highly texture degree were fabricated by a traditional two-step sintering process combined with brush technique. It is worth noting that such a technique can be employed to prepare grain-oriented ceramics by using the needle-like templates with a low aspect ratio.

Pinched P-E hysteresis loops in Ba4Sm2Fe0.5Ti3Nb6.5O30 ceramic with tungsten bronze structure

Applied Physics Letters, 2019
In the present work, single-phase Ba4Sm2Fe0.5Ti3Nb6.5O30 ceramics with a tetragonal tungsten bronze structure (TTB) were synthesized. Pinched polarization–electric field (P–E) hysteresis loops are observed below the Curie temperature (Tc) in the as-synthesized ceramics. The origin of the loops was thoroughly studied using in situ TEM and XRD.

Pinched Hysteresis Loop Characteristics of a Fractional-Order HP TiO2 memristor.

2017
A memristor is a nonlinear resistor with time memory. Usually, the memory without any loss is an ideal case. Recent studies show that there is a memory loss of the classic HP \(\mathrm{TiO_2}\) linear model, which has memory effect between no memory and ideal memory (complete memory). To describe the memory property, we propose a fractional-order HP \(\

On-printed circuit board emulator with controllability of pinched hysteresis loop for nanoscale $$\mathrm{TiO}_2$$ TiO 2 thin-film memristor device

Journal of Computational Electronics, 2016
Since real memristor devices are still not commercially available to most researchers, modeling a memristor is an effective method to explore its properties. In this paper, a flux-controlled memristor emulator circuit that can correctly mimic the memristive behavior of a real nanoscale $$\mathrm{TiO}_2$$TiO2 thin-film memristor device is presented. The

Ultra-slim pinched polarization-electric field hysteresis loops and thermally stable electrostrains in lead-free sodium bismuth titanate-based solid solutions

Journal of Alloys and Compounds, 2019
Abstract Electric field-induced strains (electrostrains) with high amplitude, high thermal stability and ultra-low hysteresis are of great interest both in fundamental researches and industrial applications, such as high-precision displacement actuators.
