Development of cytosine and adenine base editors for maize precision breeding. [PDF]
A series of maize cytosine and adenine base editors was developed using various deaminase variants, enabling efficient multiplex genome editing in maize. Precise editing of the ZmACC1/2 genes generated herbicide‐tolerant maize germplasm, offering a solution for weed management in maize‐soybean intercropping systems.

Insights into ALS-inhibiting herbicide resistance in Poa annua in an arable cropping system. [PDF]
Variable cross‐resistance to ALS inhibitors in five Poa annua populations from wheat fields in Ireland caused by different TSR mutations. Abstract BACKGROUND Dependence on a single herbicide type to control a broad‐spectrum of weeds has resulted in cases of resistance to acetolactate synthase (ALS) inhibitors in weeds normally considered lower priority

Investigation of acetyl-CoA carboxylase-inhibiting herbicides that exhibit soybean crop selectivity. [PDF]
The work presented herein details our approaches for the optimization of structural features that display soybean crop selectivity amongst the aryl‐KTE class of ACCase‐inhibiting herbicides. It is foreseen that utilizing such approaches will facilitate the acceleration of crop protection optimization programmes, as well as enabling the more sustainable

Study for Residue Analysis of Pinoxaden in Agricultural Commodities [PDF]
BACKGROUND: Pinoxaden is the phenylpyrazoline herbicide developed by Syngenta Crop Protection, Inc. and marketed on 2006. The maximum residue levels for wheat and barley were set by import tolerance. Thus, Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) official analytical method determining Pinoxaden residue was necessary in various food matrixes ...

Degradation Characteristics of Pinoxaden by Acinetobacter and Prediction of Related Genes [PDF]
Abstract In order to improve crop yield per unit area, pinoxaden was widely used in weed control in the field to better degrade the residual pinoxaden in the soil. In this experiment, 14 strains were domesticated and isolated from soil samples using pinoxaden as the only carbon and nitrogen source, and the highly degraded strain was T4P20-1 ...
