The manuscript examines preclinical murine and human models to study polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), delving into the cellular and molecular mechanisms underlying altered ovarian follicular dynamics. It explores the cellular interactions involved in normal and PCOS ovaries and outlines the current and novel strategies in the search for preclinical ...

DIABETES INSIPIDUS: LITTLE-KNOWN FACTS
The most common causes of diabetes insipidus are neurosurgical operations on the pituitary gland due to its defeat by benign and malignant tumors, the neoplasms themselves, lymphocytic hypophysitis.

Intraoral Drug Delivery: Bridging the Gap Between Academic Research and Industrial Innovations
Intraoral drug delivery offers a promising route for systemic and localized therapies, yet challenges such as enzymatic degradation, limited permeability, and microbial interactions hinder efficacy. This figure highlights innovative strategies—mucoadhesive materials, enzyme inhibitors, and permeation enhancers—to overcome these barriers.

Diagnosis and management of pituitary apoplexy: a Tunisian data
Background Pituitary apoplexy (PA) is defined as the hemorrhage or the infraction of a pituitary adenoma. Aiming to determine the epidemiological, clinical, paraclinical characteristics as well as management and outcomes of PA in our population, we ...

Schematic illustration of the mechanism of targeted delivery of nanoparticles including 1) paracellular, 2) endolysosomal escape, 3) receptor mediated endocytosis, and 4) M cell mediated transport for non‐GI diseases by oral administration such as atherosclerosis, cancer, diabetes, and brain diseases. Abstract Oral drug delivery is a promising approach

DNA Origami‐Cyanine Nanocomplex for Precision Imaging of KRAS‐Mutant Pancreatic Cancer Cells
DNA origami‐cyanine (Do‐Cy) nanocomplexes are synthesized to selectively image KRAS‐mutant pancreatic cancer cells in the highly desmoplastic tumors. This study shows that the Do‐Cy nanocomplexes are preferentially internalized by cancer cells over other stroma cells via KRAS‐dependent macropinocytosis.

Clinical and genetic aspects of familial isolated pituitary adenomas
Pituitary adenomas represent a group of functionally diverse neoplasms with relatively high prevalence in the general population. Most occur sporadically, but inherited genetic predisposing factors are increasingly recognized. Familial isolated pituitary

Brain tumor detection using artificial convolutional neural networks [PDF]
In this paper, a convolutional neural network (CNN) was used to classify NMR images of human brains with 4 different types of tumors: meningioma, glioma and pituitary gland tumors. During the training phase of this project, an accuracy of 100% was obtained, meanwhile, in the evaluation phase the precision was 96%.
