Bacillus licheniformis AZU‐A5 produced polyhydroxyalkanoates (PHAs) using cheese whey, achieving a yield of 1.75 g L−1 through Plackett–Burman design and specific factor optimization. Spectroscopy, chromatography, and thermal analysis confirmed the PHA as poly(3‐hydroxybutyrate) or P3HB.
