Investigating higher dimensional Jimbo–Miwa nonlinear dynamics through phase portraits, sensitivity, chaos and soliton behavior

open access: yesPartial Differential Equations in Applied Mathematics
The main focus of this article is on the development of new wave structures for the nonlinear (3+1)-dimensional Jimbo–Miwa equation. To solve the Jimbo–Miwa equation, a modified Khater method has been employed to generate various forms of soliton wave ...

Scaling of thermal conductivity of helium confined in pores

open access: yes, 2001
We have studied the thermal conductivity of confined superfluids on a bar-like geometry. We use the planar magnet lattice model on a lattice $H\times H\times L$ with $L \gg H$.

EBSD Study of Creep‐Induced Lattice Misorientation in MgO‐Particle‐Reinforced Austenitic Steel Composites

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Creep experiments at 900°C on coarse‐grained steel‐ceramic composites containing recycled magnesia reveal that higher ceramic volume fractions significantly enhance the creep resistance. Detailed EBSD investigations identify subgrain formation in the steel matrix as the dominant deformation mechanism.

Dichotomy Results for Fixed-Point Existence Problems for Boolean Dynamical Systems

open access: yes, 2007
A complete classification of the computational complexity of the fixed-point existence problem for boolean dynamical systems, i.e., finite discrete dynamical systems over the domain {0, 1}, is presented. For function classes F and graph classes G, an (F,

A Numerical–Experimental Approach for Multi‐Matrix Fiber‐Reinforced Plastics Characterization Using Finite Element Model Updating

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
A numerical–experimental framework is developed for characterizing multi‐matrix fiber‐reinforced polymers (MM‐FRPs) combining epoxy and polyurethane matrices. Harmonic bending tests are integrated with finite element model updating (FEMU) to simultaneously identify elastic and viscoelastic material parameters.

Soliton solution of the osmosis K(2, 2) equation

open access: yes, 2009
In this Letter, by using the bifurcation method of dynamical systems, we obtain the analytic expressions of soliton solution of the osmosis K(2, 2) equation.Comment: 8 ...

Tailored Hierarchical Porous Copper Architectures via Three Dimensional Printing and Pressure‐less Sintering for Next‐Generation Lithium‐Metal Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
A hierarchical porous copper current collector is fabricated via three‐dimensional printing combined with pressureless sintering to stabilize lithium metal anodes. The interconnected architecture lowers local current density, guides uniform Li deposition within pores, and suppresses dendrite growth.

Four‐Point Bending Tests at High Temperatures on Commercial MgO‐C Refractory Bricks with and Without Recyclate Considering Different Carbon Contents

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Four‐point bending tests are conducted in an argon atmosphere on commercial MgO‐C brick grades with and without MgO‐C recyclate from room temperature up to 1300 °C. No detrimental effect of the MgO‐C recyclates on bending strength is found. Instead, a decisive influence of the total carbon content is observed, with lower total carbon contents ...

On classification of degenerate singular points of Ricci flows

open access: yesҚарағанды университетінің хабаршысы. Математика сериясы, 2015
We consider the normalized Ricci flow on generalized Wallach spaces that could be reduced to a system of nonlinear ODEs. As a main result we get the classification of degenerate singular points of the system under consideration in the important partial ...
