Direct Mechanoorganocatalysis via Surface Functionalization of Milling Reactors With Amine Functions

Surface functionalization of milling jars in epoxy resin furnished reactive milling jars, able to perform direct mechanoorganocatalysis with high efficiency, recyclability, and simplified purification. This proof of concept was applied successfully to base‐catalyzed Knoevenagel condensation and multicomponent reactions.

Waste Polystyrene Chain Scission With Ball Milling: Mass‐Dependent Kinetics and Energy‐Dose Analysis

Ball‐milling‐induced chain scission of real‐world polystyrene samples exhibits a systematic dependence on polymer mass when particle size is controlled. Scission rate constants follow power‐law scaling, and molecular weight evolution data collapse when analyzed by mechanical energy dose.
