Role of Bacillus spp. Plant Growth Promoting Properties in Mitigating Biotic and Abiotic Stresses in Lowland Rice (Oryza sativa L.)

open access: yesMicroorganisms, 2023
The ability of microorganisms to promote plant growth and mitigate abiotic and biotic stresses makes them an interesting tool for sustainable agriculture. Numerous studies aim to identify new, promising bacteria isolates.

Gut microbiome and aging—A dynamic interplay of microbes, metabolites, and the immune system

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Age‐dependent shifts in microbial communities engender shifts in microbial metabolite profiles. These in turn drive shifts in barrier surface permeability of the gut and brain and induce immune activation. When paired with preexisting age‐related chronic inflammation this increases the risk of neuroinflammation and neurodegenerative diseases.

Effects of plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria on blueberry growth and rhizosphere soil microenvironment [PDF]

open access: yesPeerJ
Background Plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR) have a specific symbiotic relationship with plants and rhizosphere soil. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effects of PGPR on blueberry plant growth, rhizospheric soil nutrients and the ...

Plant growth promoting properties of an antarctic strain Amycolatopsis sp. Cq 72-27

open access: yesУкраїнський антарктичний журнал, 2023
Unique biotopes can be a source of new plant growth promotion (PGP) bacteria with rare properties. The Antarctic habitat is an attractive location for research, as it is characterized by many stress factors, and the local microbiota is under permanent ...

Seleksi Bakteri Penambat Nitrogen Dan Penghasil Hormon Iaa (Indole Acetic Acid) Dari Rizosfer Tanah Perkebunan Kedelai (Glycine Max L.) [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
Rizosphere bacteria can be used to fix nitrogen and produce IAA (Indol Acetic Acid) as biofertilizer to support plant growth. The ability of rhizosphere bacteria can be improved using biotechnology.

Manipulation of auxin transport in plant roots during Rhizobium symbiosis and nematode parasitism [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
The plant rhizosphere harbors many different microorganisms, ranging from plant growth-promoting bacteria to devastating plant parasites. Some of these microbes are able to induce de novo organ formation in infected roots.

The ubiquitin ligase RNF115 is required for the clearance of damaged lysosomes

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Upon lysosomal rupture, an E3 ubiquitin ligase RNF115 translocates from the cytosol to the damaged lysosomal membrane. Moreover, RNF115 depletion impairs the clearance of damaged lysosomes, identifying it as a key regulator of lysosomal quality control.
