Planar Solid‐State Nanopores Toward Scalable Nanofluidic Integration Based on CMOS Technology
We present a scalable silicon‐based fabrication strategy for planar solid‐state nanopores to enable their integration with complex nanofluidic systems. Prototype devices demonstrate normal voltage‐current characteristics, good noise performance, and appreciable streaming currents. Our CMOS‐compatible fabrication process offers precise geometric control

The average height of planted plane trees with M leaves
AbstractThe number of planted plane trees with n nodes, m leaves, and height h is computed. Assuming that all n-node planted plane trees with m leaves are equally likely, it is shown that the average height h(n, m) is asymptotically given for all ε > 0 and fixed ϱ = mn, 0 < ϱ < 1, by h(n,m)=(φn(ρ-1 − 1))12 + 1.5 − ρ-1 + O(ln(n)n12-ε)

Inheritance of plant height and spike length in wheat
Using the line x tester analysis (Sing and Choudhary, 1979), we studied the combining ability, gene effects and mode of inheritance of plant height and spike length, using 5 females, 3 testers and 15 F] hybrids of wheat. The mode of inheritance of characters under study depended on the cross combination and the year of growing.

The transcription factor GmBIM1 negatively regulates plant height in soybean (Glycine max L.)
Plant height is a key agronomic trait in soybean (Glycine max L.), as it directly influences the number of nodes on the main stem, pod number per plant, yield, and lodging resistance.

Principal variable selection to explain grain yield variation in winter wheat from features extracted from UAV imagery [PDF]
Background: Automated phenotyping technologies are continually advancing the breeding process. However, collecting various secondary traits throughout the growing season and processing massive amounts of data still take great efforts and time.

This study demonstrates an efficient recycling route for out‐of‐spec AlSi10Mg atomized powders through compaction and arc remelting followed by suction casting. By correlating compaction load, cooling rate, and resulting microstructure, we show that intermediate pressures (50–80 kN) and rapid cooling refine dendrites, reduce porosity, and enhance ...
