Associations of the triglyceride-glucose index and remnant cholesterol levels with the prevalence of Carotid Plaque in patients with type 2 diabetes: a retrospective study

open access: yesLipids in Health and Disease
Background The triglyceride-glucose (TyG) index has been identified as an alternative biomarker for insulin resistance (IR), while residual cholesterol (RC) is a simple, cost-effective, and easily detectable lipid metabolite. However, the associations of

The Significance of the dental plaque index AM method

open access: yesJOURNAL OF DENTAL HEALTH, 1973
The usual method for indicating the degree of dental plaque accumulation in school children is based on an examination of the anterior teeth alone. This method is often inadequate to show accurately the dental plaque accumulation because there is much difference between the anterior and posterior regions.
