Obtaining Silicon Oxide Nanoparticles Doped with Fluorine and Gold Particles by the Pulsed Plasma-Chemical Method

open access: yesJournal of Nanotechnology, 2019
This paper presents a study on pulsed plasma-chemical synthesis of fluorine- and gold-doped silicon oxide nanopowder. The gold- and fluorine-containing precursors were gold chloride (AuCl3) and sulphur hexafluoride (SF6). Pulsed plasma-chemical synthesis

Al2O3 Ring Array by Infiltration Synthesis in Polystyrene Antidot Template

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
Different morphologies, such as full dots for genuine PS‐b‐PMMA, residual dots for the PS antidot array (resulting from an Acetic Acid (AA) last PS‐b‐PMMA), and rings for the modified PS antidot array (derived from an O2 plasma last PS‐b‐PMMA), originated from SIS process in PS‐b‐PMMA BCP array, due to the different reaction sites for the TMA precursor

Plasma-chemical reactor for production of hydrogen from polymer waste

open access: yesIzvestiya MGTU MAMI, 2014
This article is the third part of the work devoted to plasma chemical processing of plastic waste (and other toxic organic compounds) into hydrogen and other liquid products. The obtained results are crucial to solving global environmental and energy challenges of our time. The article presents a brief overview of the experimental and theoretical works

Photolithographic Patterning of Colloidal Quantum Dots Enabled by Plasma‐Induced Ligand Polymerization

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
Plasma‐induced ligand polymerization on colloidal quantum dots (QDs) renders them resistant to organic solvents, enabling conventional photoresist‐based photolithography. This approach achieves microscale patterning with feature sizes down to 3 µm, preserving the optical properties of the QDs and offering a simple and scalable route for QD‐based ...

A comprehensive review of cold plasma technology for microalgae removal

open access: yesSouth African Journal of Chemical Engineering
Microalgae play a dual role in aquatic ecosystems, serving as crucial oxygen producers and carbon fixers while also posing significant environmental and public health risks when they grow excessively due to nutrient enrichment.

Jet Plasma-Chemical Reactor for the Conversion of Methane: the Use of Clustering

open access: yesAdvances in Materials Physics and Chemistry, 2012
The research results of processes proceeding in supersonic jets of light hydrocarbons, activated by an electron beam are presented. It is shown, that condensation suppressed at activation by electrons in the initial stage of condensation. The developed condensation conditions mode leads to increasing of a part of heavy corpuscles in activated stream ...

Atomic Tuning of Metal‐Support Interactions for Pathway‐Selective CO2 Photoreduction on TiO2

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Single‐atom Fe and Cu catalysts anchored on TiO2 steer photocatalytic CO2 reduction toward distinct pathways. Fe sites favor rapid *CO desorption and selective CO formation, whereas Cu sites stabilize *CHO intermediates, enabling deep reduction and C─C coupling. Combined spectroscopy and DFT calculations reveal how metal–support interactions and oxygen

Thermochemical Micro‐Explosion for Prompt Thrombolysis via Proximal Injection of Liquid Alkali Metal

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
We report a micro‐explosive thermochemical thrombolysis (METCT) therapy via injectable liquid alkali metal encapsulated in dimethyl silicone (LAM@oil). METCT enables prompt and safe vascular recanalization within 90 s. Critically, the LAM@oil system demonstrates significantly higher thrombolytic efficacy compared to clinically available thrombolytic ...
