The PI3Kδ inhibitor roginolisib (IOA‐244) preserves T‐cell function and activity

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Identification of novel PI3K inhibitors with limited immune‐related adverse effects is highly sought after. We found that roginolisib and idelalisib inhibit chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) cells and Treg suppressive functions to similar extents, but roginolisib affects cytotoxic T‐cell function and promotion of pro‐inflammatory T helper subsets to a

Circular RNA expression landscapes in myelodysplastic neoplasms: Associations with mutational signatures and disease progression

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
In this explorative study, the abundance of circular RNA molecules in bone marrow stem cells was found to be elevated in patients with high‐risk myelodysplastic neoplasms, and to be associated with an increased risk of progression to acute myeloid leukemia.

Low-Current High-Voltage Pulsed Atmospheric Arc Plasma Jet: Nanoparticle Emission from the Cathodic Spot

open access: yesPlasma
The atmospheric pressure plasma jet (APPJ) is a popular type of cold atmospheric plasma (CAP). APPJs based on a pulsed atmospheric arc (PAA) are widely spread in industrial processing.

Plasma calcining of pigment particles for thermal control coatings [PDF]

open access: yes, 1972
Method utilizes an RF excited plasma to surface deactivate thermally stable powders at high temperatures. Utilization of this plasma heat treatment at high temperatures can be carried out without grain growth, calcination, or ...

Identification of serum protein biomarkers for pre‐cancerous lesions associated with pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This work identified serum proteins associated with pancreatic epithelial neoplasms (PanINs) and early‐stage PDAC. Proteomics screens assessed genetically engineered mice with abundant PanINs, KPC mice (Lox‐STOP‐Lox‐KrasG12D/+ Lox‐STOP‐Lox‐Trp53R172H/+ Pdx1‐Cre) before PDAC development and also early‐stage PDAC patients (n = 31), compared to benign ...

Development of the Langmuir probe under q-distribution for NCST

open access: yesAIP Advances
The Langmuir probe is one of the important diagnostic methods for measuring the edge plasma parameters of tokamak. A quadruple Langmuir probe (QLP) system was designed and built on the NanChang Spherical tokamak (NCST).

Pre‐analytical optimization of cell‐free DNA and extracellular vesicle‐derived DNA for mutation detection in liquid biopsies

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Pre‐analytical handling critically determines liquid biopsy performance. This study defines practical best‐practice conditions for cell‐free DNA (cfDNA) and extracellular vesicle–derived DNA (evDNA), showing how processing time, storage conditions, tube type, and plasma input volume affect DNA integrity and mutation detection.

Application Research on Contour Feature Extraction of Solidified Region Image in Laser Powder Bed Fusion Based on SA-TransUNet

open access: yesApplied Sciences
The solidified state after the melting of the forming layer in the laser powder bed fusion (LPBF) directly reflects the final forming quality. Compared with the powder layer and the melt pool, it is easier to recognize and remove the defects of contour ...

The control of the plasma choline concentration in the cat

open access: yesThe Journal of Physiology, 1972
1. Changes in choline concentration of the blood after injections or infusions of choline were studied in cats anaesthetized with chloralose.2. Single I.V. injections of choline 10–100 μmole/kg produced arterial plasma levels 1 min later corresponding to an apparent volume of initial distribution of 430 ml./kg. The concentration then declined rapidly (
