Architecture‐Controlled Hierarchical Carbon‐Based Current Collector for Mitigating Interfacial Instabilities in Lithium‐Metal Anodes

A defect‐engineered, hierarchically porous carbon black/CNT current collector guides lithiophilic nucleation in 3D architecture. Steam‐created defects enable uniform Li plating, while CNTs provide conductivity and a lightweight framework, suppressing dendrites and side reactions for stable anode‐free cells.

Imaging Electric Polarization Switching in Multilayer Graphene

Domain wall sliding‐induced electric polarization switching is directly observed for the first time in multilayer graphene, enabled by a novel optical readout method. The polarization switching is realized upon application of global and local electric fields, and mechanical forces between neighboring polar domains of opposite out‐of‐plane polarizations

Metal‐Support Interaction Triggered Electronic Reconstruction in Pd/CoN‐Co4N Catalysts for Optimizing MEK Oxidation and Poisoning Resistance

The strengthened EMSI in Pd/CoN‐Co4N induces electronic rearrangement, generating abundant Pd0 species in situ, modulating the Pd d‐band center to enhance O2 adsorption and MEK activation. Concurrently, it creates numerous Lewis acid sites that preferentially adsorb poisons and shield the active sites.

Mechanical Activation of Piezo1 Drives Osteoarthritis Through Kdm5c‐Mediated Epigenetic Silencing

Excessive mechanical stress activates Piezo1, triggering Ca2+‐dependent cytoskeletal forces that deform the nucleus and reduce H3K4me3. Kdm5c demethylates H3K4me3 at Col2a1 and Runx3 promoters. Kdm5c knockout rescues degradation. Repurposed telmisartan directly inhibits Kdm5c, blocking this axis and showing disease‐modifying efficacy in mouse OA models
