Pancreatic sensory neurons innervating healthy and PDAC tissue were retrogradely labeled and profiled by single‐cell RNA sequencing. Tumor‐associated innervation showed a dominant neurofilament‐positive subtype, altered mitochondrial gene signatures, and reduced non‐peptidergic neurons.

Rheological properties of cement systems modified with mineral and plasticizing additives
Introduction. In practice, it is required to obtain mixtures both of equal workability, estimated by standard technical indicators (cone sediment, spreading, etc.) and of different rheological characteristics. Diluent additives effectively reduce the yield

The future is plastic: refiguring Malabou’s plasticity
This article investigates Catherine Malabou’s claims to have produced some form of beyond of deconstruction with her reworking of the Hegelian concept of “plasticity” (Plastizität). In the light of Malabou’s critique of the unsuitability of the Derridean non-concept of “text” for being a suitable metaphor for neuronal functioning in her Plasticité, I ...

Isosorbide dioctoate as a "green" plasticizer for poly(lactic acid)
Isosorbide dioctoate (SDO), a "green" plasticizer for poly(lactic acid) (PLA), was synthesized and evaluated as bio-based alternative to traditional phthalate plasticizers. The structure of SDO was confirmed by FTIR and H-1 NMR.

Beyond its role in immune evasion, this study identified that CD47 drives tumor‐intrinsic signaling in non‐small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Transcriptomic profiling and functional studies revealed that CD47 regulates cell adhesion, migration, and metastasis through an ERK–EMT signaling axis.

Rehabilitation and Plasticity [PDF]
Therapies for effective neurorehabiltiation are in part based on brain mechanism commonly described as neuroplasticity. These therapeutic approaches emphasize the re-learning of functionality that was lost due to the injury through reorganization of neural circuits in the remaining intact tissue.

Hijacking emergency granulopoiesis: Neutrophil ontogeny and reprogramming in cancer
Neutrophils are highly plastic innate immune cells; their functions in cancer extend beyond the tumour microenvironment. This Review summarises current understanding of neutrophil maturation and heterogeneity and highlights tumour‐induced granulopoiesis as a systemic programme that expands immature, immunosuppressive neutrophils via tumour‐derived ...
