Fast‐acting hydrogel seals bleeding wounds as the illustrated injectable, pH‐responsive network rapidly gels in situ to stop hemorrhage, adhere strongly to wet tissue, and release antibiotics in a controlled, pH‐dependent manner. The material withstands high pressures, shows excellent biocompatibility, and degrades safely, offering a versatile platform

An In Situ Embedded B‐MOF Sponge With Shape‐Memory for All‐in‐One Diabetic Wound Therapy
A smart shape‐memory sponge dressing (P1A3@B‐MOF) is developed for accelerated diabetic wound healing. It achieves pH‐responsive corelease of Zn2+ and salvianolic acid B, synergistically providing antibacterial action, repolarizing macrophages to the M2 phenotype, and promoting angiogenesis.

Mean platelet volume as an indicator of platelet activation: methodological issues
Mean platelet volume (MPV) is increased in patients at high risk for athero-thrombotic diseases. Thus, an elevated MPV may be a risk marker for platelet activation.Healthy subjects with normal triglyceride (TG) levels (90+/-6 mg/dl; n = 40) or mild hypertriglyceridemia (161+/-79 mg/dl; n = 32) were studied.

Aim and Objectives: The aim of this study is to study role of platelet indices in type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) with and without diabetic retinopathy. The objectives included assessing platelet count, mean platelet volume (MPV), platelet distribution width (PDW), and platelet large cell ratio(P-LCR)within these patient categories and to comparing ...

The DA/VTP‐NBs selectively recognized cardiac ECs damaged by DIC and achieved cell‐level targeted imaging. Then US‐triggered controlled release successfully enabled the release of DAPA within the DA/VTP‐NBs at the site of injury. This precise on‐demand drug release approach amplifies a series of localized therapeutic effects through the mtDNA‐mediated ...

Platelet Indices as Useful Indicators of Urinary Tract Infection
Background: The changes of platelet parameters can be a useful index for rapid diagnosis of urinary tract infection (UTI), since platelet changes are routinely determined through complete blood count (CBC) test. The correlation between platelet indices, included number (PLTs), mean platelet volume (MPV) and platelet distribution width (PDW), which are ...
