The effect of 10-week plyometric training program on muscle strength of the upper and lower limbs, lean body mass, and Insulin-like growth factor 1 in young women [PDF]
Introduction: Plyometric training utilizes the stretch-shortening cycle by using a lengthening (eccentric) movement, which is promptly followed by a shortening (concentric) movement.

Abstract We compared the acute and chronic effects of postexercise cold water immersion (CWI) and active recovery (ACT) on oxidative stress, redox‐related gene expression, mitochondrial adaptations and muscle oxidative capacity. In a crossover study, nine males completed strength sessions, followed by either 10 min CWI or ACT.

Abstract The present study examined the cardiovascular, metabolic, neuromuscular and perceptual effects of low‐intensity jumping in simulated lunar gravity (∼20% bodyweight) with blood flow restriction (BFR). Fourteen healthy adults (24 ± 4 years; 1.81 ± 0.06 m; 75 ± 12 kg) completed an incremental jumping test in simulated lunar gravity (9.5° head‐up ...
