Abstract Spectra, kinetics and thermal behavior of photoluminescence in PLZT X/65/35 ceramics have been studied with respect to different concentrations of different sorts of defects (inherent: lead and oxygen vacancies and dopant-induced by Mn, Fe, Co, Ni). The features observed are shown to be related to disordering of the material.

Birefringent light scattering in PLZT ceramics
IEEE Transactions on Ultrasonics, Ferroelectrics and Frequency Control, 1991A model for visible light scattering in thin, ferroelectric ceramic plates is presented. This and other previously published models are compared with experimental results. An expression for scattered light intensity over exit angle is developed on the basis of multiple refraction from randomly oriented grain and domain walls in a birefringent medium ...

Studies on microstructure and microproperty of PLZT ceramics
Ferroelectrics, 1988Abstract The microstructure of PLZT tranparent ferroelectric ceramics were studied by using the HREM techniques and electron diffraction study. The following experimental results were obtained: (1) The structure of micro-domains presented in the cubic α phase is exactly the same structure of its ferroelectric β phase after poling.
