Poling strategy of PLZT ceramics
Ferroelectrics, 1984Abstract The best conditions of poling are reported for PLZT 8/65/35 and 12/40/60 ceramics. Selection of different poling parameters has been studied as well as their influence on aging. Results are in accordance with the classical concept of domain switching.

Holographic storage and photoconductivity in PLZT ceramic materials
Applied Optics, 1976The dynamics of holographic recording in quadratic electrooptic materials are analyzed. High optical quality PLZT ceramic is found to conform to the behavior predicted for quadratic materials. The operation of PLZT as a holographic store and as a photoconductor is studied, and mechanisms that limit the material sensitivity are postulated.

1974 International Electron Devices Meeting (IEDM), 1974The longitudinal fringe-field electrooptic effect in slim-loop lead lanthanum zirconate titanate (PLZT) ceramics offers the best known possibility of using ferroelectric ceramics for low-voltage, high-contrast numeric and alphanumeric display devices. Such devices appear feasible using either transmitted or reflected ambient light.

Excitation and emission of Pr3+:PLZT ceramics
Ceramics International, 2016Abstract Excitation and emission spectra of Pr 3+ :PLZT ceramics have been studied. Several emission bands were measured under blue laser excitation, which correspond to 3 P 0 → 3 H 4 , 1 D 2 → 3 H 4 , 3 P 0 → 3 H 4 and 3 P 0 → 3 F 2 transitions of trivalent Pr 3+ . Their integrated emission intensities were determined.

Laser-induced selftransparency in PLZT ceramics
Ferroelectrics, 1988Abstract We report measurements of selftransparency effects in PLZT 8/65/35 ceramics for various wavelength of laser radiation λ = 0. 5+6 νm. The results are interpreted in terms of thermally induced phase transitions, thermal lens and photorefraction in PLZT. Optimal conditions for the light-by-light control in PLZT 8/65/35 are achieved and discussed.
