Characterization of PLZST-PMW dielectric ceramics

Materials Research Bulletin, 2014
Abstract (1 −  x )(Pb 0.9325 La 0.045 )(Zr 0.54 Sn 0.35 Ti 0.11 )O 3 (PLZST) −  x Pb(Mg 0.5 W 0.5 )O 3 (PMW) (0 ≤ x ≤ 7 mol%) dielectric ceramics have been investigated with regard to their phase evolution, microstructure, dielectric and energy storage properties.

PMWS: an emerging disease identified in archived porcine tissues

The Veterinary Journal, 2005
Postweaning multisystemic wasting syndrome (PMWS) is a disease caused by porcine circovirus type 2 (PCV-2). The disease was present as early as 1986 in Spain, 1989 in Japan and 1993 in Thailand. In view of this, we considered it possible that the disease may also have been present in Switzerland prior to its first description in 2001.

Diagnosi di PMWS in Italia [PDF]

open access: possible, 2008
From the beginning of October 2006 to January 31st 2008, in the context of a work sponsored by Merial Italia, a diagnostic pathway has been developed for the study of post-weaning multisystemic wasting syndrome (PMWS) of pigs. Superficial inguinal and bronchial lymph nodes, ileum, tonsil and lung from 3 to 5 subjects (229 pigs belonging to 64 farms ...

Avian circovirus diseases: lessons for the study of PMWS

Veterinary Microbiology, 2004
The diseases associated with psittacine beak and feather disease virus (BFDV), pigeon circovirus (PiCV) and goose circovirus (GoCV), which can be classified with porcine circovirus type 2 (PCV2) as members of the genus Circovirus of the family Circoviridae, have clinico-pathological features in common with post-weaning multisystemic wasting syndrome ...

Dielectric, piezoelectric and strain properties of PMW-PNN-PZT

ISAF 2000. Proceedings of the 2000 12th IEEE International Symposium on Applications of Ferroelectrics (IEEE Cat. No.00CH37076), 2002
In this paper, the structural, dielectric, piezoelectric and strain properties of Pb[(Mg/sub 1/2/W/sub 1/2/)/sub x/-(Ni/sub 1/3/Nb/sub 2/3/)/sub 0.15-x/-(Zr/sub 0/ /sub .5/Ti/sub 0.5/)/sub 0.85/]O/sub 3/ (X-0-0/spl sim/0.10) ceramics were investigated with the substitution of Pb(Mg/sub 1/2/W/sub 1/2/)O/sub 3/.
