Complete mitochondrial genome of the guppy ( Poecilia reticulata)
Mitochondrial DNA Part A, 2014The guppy (Poecilia reticulata), a member of the Poeciliidae family, is one of the most popular aquarium fish. Here, we reported the complete mitochondrial genome of P. reticulata. The genome is 16,570 bp in length, including 13 protein-coding genes, 22 transfer RNA genes and 2 ribosomal RNA genes.

Risk Sensitive Courtship in the Guppy (Poecilia Reticulata)
Behaviour, 1990AbstractThis study investigated population differences in the courtship behaviour of male guppies, Poecilia reticulata, in the presence and absence of predators. Two Trinidad populations were compared: the Lower Aripo where guppies occur sympatrically with a range of piscivores and the Upper Aripo where levels of fish predation are low.

MORPHOLOGICAL STUDY OF POECILIA RETICULATA (PETERS, 1860)
2004The present study aimed at to notice the morphology of Poecilia reticulata (Peters, 1860). Body size, colouration, presence of gonopodium in male and gravid spot in female fish were some of the morphological features studied during the investigation.
