Chip-scale, full-Stokes polarimeter [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
The polarization of light conveys unique information that can be exploited by crucial applications. The bulky and costly discrete optical components used in conventional polarimeters limit their broad adoption. A compact, low-cost polarimeter would bring

50 MeV polarimeter [PDF]

open access: yes, 1980
A description is given of the construction, operation and calibration of the 50 MeV polarimeter which was used at the ZGS. The dependence of the observed counts on various parameters, including the beam polarization, beam intensity and the solid angle in

A Wavefront Division Polarimeter for the Measurements of Solute Concentrations in Solutions

open access: yesSensors, 2017
Polarimeters are useful instruments that measure concentrations of optically active substances in a given solution. The conventional polarimetric principle consists of measuring the rotation angle of linearly polarized light.

Revisiting Securidaca longipedunculata Seed Oil: Applying NMR and Mass Spectroscopy to Confirm the Presence of 2‐Acetyl‐1,3‐Diacyl–sn‐Glycerols and Conjugated Hydroxydienoic Fatty Acids

open access: yesJournal of the American Oil Chemists' Society, EarlyView.
The manuscript confirms and expands on previous reports concerning the presence of unusual conjugated hydroxydienoic fatty acids and acetyl‐TAG in the seed oil of Securidaca longipedunculata. The location of acetate only at sn‐2 of TAG was conclusively shown by high resolution NMR and hydroxy seed fatty acids are characterized.
