Racemization of chiral imides in dimethylformamide is shown to increase with increasing water content and temperature. The six‐membered imide ring system is more stable than the five‐membered analogue, with slower racemization under identical conditions and an absence of competing side reactions.

The KVI Lamb-Shift polarimeter [PDF]
The design and operation of a Lamb-shift polarimeter is discussed. This polarimeter is used to measure the polarization of proton and deuteron beams extracted from the KVI polarized-ion source. The major components of the Lamb-shift polarimeter (LSP) are

ABSTRACT A series of novel chiral urea and thiourea compounds were designed as multitarget‐directed ligands for Alzheimer's disease and evaluated against hAChE, hBChE, and hMAO‐B, with exploratory assessment of HSD10. These chiral compounds were synthesized and fully characterized, and their enantiopurity was confirmed via HPLC.

A Chip-scale, Full-Stokes Polarimeter [PDF]
The polarization of light conveys unique information that can be exploited by crucial applications. The bulky and costly discrete optical components used in conventional polarimeters limit their broad adoption. A compact, low-cost polarimeter would bring
