Entangling entanglement: coupling frequency and polarization of biphotons on demand
Quantum information is often carried in the frequency and polarization degrees of freedom (DoFs) in single photons and entangled photons. We demonstrate an approach to couple and decouple the frequency and polarization DoFs of broadband biphotons.

Experimental investigation of enviroment--induced entanglement using an all--optical setup
We investigate the generation of entanglement between two non interacting qubits coupled to a common reservoir. An experimental setup was conceived to encode one qubit on the polarization of an optical beam and another qubit on its transverse mode.

Does a Morphotropic Phase Boundary Exist in ZrxHf1‐xO2‐Based Thin Films?
This study investigates 6 nm zirconium‐rich hafnium‐zirconium oxide thin–film metal–insulator–metal capacitors using a combination of experimental methods and machine learning–based molecular dynamics simulations to provide insight into the physical mechanisms that enhance the dielectric constant near 0 V and attribute it to the field‐induced ...

Valley spin polarization by using the extraordinary Rashba effect on silicon [PDF]
The addition of the valley degree of freedom to a two-dimensional spin-polarized electronic system provides the opportunity to multiply the functionality of next-generation devices.

Lithium Intercalation in the Anisotropic Van Der Waals Semiconductor CrSBr
We report the lithium intercalation in the layered van der Waals crystal CrSBr, revealing strongly anisotropic ion‐migration dynamics. Optical and electrical characterization of exfoliated CrSBr shows lithium diffusion coefficients that differ by more than an order of magnitude along a‐ and b‐directions, consistent with molecular dynamics simulations ...

Giant paramagnetism induced valley polarization of electrons in charge-tunable monolayer MoSe2
For applications exploiting the valley pseudospin degree of freedom in transition metal dichalcogenide monolayers, efficient preparation of electrons or holes in a single valley is essential. Here, we show that a magnetic field of 7 Tesla leads to a near-

Polarization observables in A(d,p) breakup and quark degrees of freedom in the deuteron [PDF]
The differential cross section, the tensor analyzing power, $T_{20}$, and the polarization transfer, $ _0$, in $^{12}C(d,p)$ breakup at relativistic energy are calculated within a model which incorporates multiple scattering and Pauli principle at quark level.
