Investigation of Electrochemical Behaviour of 3-Allyl-4-Hydroxy-3'-4'- Dimethylazobenzene

open access: yesInternational Journal of Electrochemical Science, 2013
The reductive voltammetric and polarographic behaviour of the 3-allyl-4-hydroxy-3'-4'-dimethylazobenzene at a hanging mercury drop electrode (HMDE) and static mercury drop electrode (SMDE) has been studied in Britton-Robinson (B-R) buffers in the pH ...

Emergence of Staphylococcus aureus Resistance to Antimicrobial Peptides Nisin, NZ2114 and Bacitracin Involves Multiple Phenotypic Changes

open access: yesAnimal Research and One Health, Volume 4, Issue 1, Page 82-93, February 2026.
The AMP‐induced mutant Staphylococcus aureus strain nzR showed increased resistance, five gene mutations, and decreased surface anion levels. AMPs affect the NDH‐2 protein encoded by ndh gene inhibiting the growth of S. aureus. The deletion of the ndh gene promotes the development of AMPs resistance.

Short‐term actions of epigalocatechin‐3‐gallate in the liver: a mechanistic insight into hypoglycemic and potential toxic effects

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, Volume 16, Issue 1, Page 199-221, January 2026.
Epigallocatechin‐3‐gallate (EGCG) acutely inhibited gluconeogenesis and enhanced glycolysis, glycogenolysis, and fatty acid oxidation in perfused rat livers. Mechanistic assays revealed mitochondrial uncoupling, inhibition of pyruvate carboxylation and glucose‐6‐phosphatase, shift of NADH/NAD+ ratios toward oxidation, and loss of membrane integrity ...

Polarographic and Spectrophotometric Study of Lead Complexes with Diethanoldithiocarbamate

open access: yesJournal of the Brazilian Chemical Society, 1998
Experimental and theoretical aspects concerning the behaviour of lead-dietanoldithiocarbamate complexes in aqueous solutions were studied. The reaction occurs through complexation and formation of a yellow precipitate, which is soluble in ligand excess ...

Manganese‐Based Spinel Cathodes: A Promising Frontier for Solid‐State Lithium‐Ion Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, Volume 38, Issue 3, 13 January 2026.
Mn‐based spinel cathodes LiMn2O4 (LMO) and LiNi0.5Mn1.5O4 (LNMO), with the unique characteristics of low cost, structural stability, and 3D Li‐ion diffusion channels, have presented great potential in all‐solid‐state batteries. Here, a comprehensive understanding and valuable insights into the rational design and implications for the future development

Determinación de trazas de Molibdeno (VI), Níquel (II) y Vanadio (V) en cementos por polarografía diferencial de impulsos

open access: yesMateriales de Construccion, 1985
In this work an account is given of the results obtained when the differential pulse polarography (differential pulse anodic stripping voltametry) is applied to the determination of the contents of the compounds by molybdenum (VI), nickel (II) and ...

Investigating interactions between macroinvertebrate indices, water quality parameters, and stream quality classifications in a Wisconsin agricultural watershed

open access: yesJournal of Environmental Quality, Volume 55, Issue 1, January/February 2026.
Abstract Increasing agricultural and urban land use poses a growing threat to freshwater ecosystems worldwide, contributing to nutrient loading and degradation of surface water quality. Stream restoration, such as riparian vegetation, can help mitigate nonpoint source pollution, yet its ecological outcomes remain variable.

Techniques and Advances in Ultrafast Photography

open access: yesAdvanced Photonics Research, Volume 6, Issue 12, December 2025.
This review maps the fast‐growing field of ultrafast photography from early mechanical cameras to modern optical‐computational methods. It organizes techniques into four families (multishot passive/active; single‐shot passive/active), explains how they reach trillion‐frame‐per‐second speeds, compares capabilities and tradeoffs, and highlights ...

Concrete Structure Inspired 3D‐Printed Framework Mechanically Reinforced Zwitterionic Hydrogel for Efficient Postoperative Abdominal Adhesion Prevention

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 12, Issue 45, December 4, 2025.
Inspired by the establishment process and structure of concrete, a 3D‐printed PCL framework‐reinforced composite hydrogel is developed to overcome the mechanical limits of the original zwitterionic hydrogel toward clinic application of postoperative adhesion prevention.
