We investigate some basic descriptive set theory for countably based completely quasi-metrizable topological spaces, which we refer to as quasi-Polish spaces. These spaces naturally generalize much of the classical descriptive set theory of Polish spaces to the non-Hausdorff setting.

Weak∗-Polish Banach spaces [PDF]
If Y is a Banach space and a separable Banach space \(X\subset Y\) *, then X is said to be w *-Polish if the closed unit ball of X is Polish in the w *-topology (i.e. homeomorphic to a separable complete metric space). This property of Banach spaces is carefully studied in connection to properties like the point of continuity property, skipped blocking

Application of observations of recent tectonic activity in the Świebodzice Depression (the Sudetes, SW Poland) in assessing seismic hazard in the Fore-Sudetic Monocline [PDF]
Tiltmeter observations with application of horizontal pendulums have been carried out for 40 years in the Geodynamic Laboratory in Książ. Long-term observations have not indicated any correlation of these data with meteorological or seasonal phenomena ...

Multifractal structure of turbulence in the magnetospheric cusp [PDF]
Magnetospheric cusps are regions which are characterized by highly turbulent plasma. We have used Polar magnetic field data to study the structure of turbulence in the cusp region. The wavelet transform modulus maxima method (WTMM) has been applied to
