Enhancement of sensing characteristics of Polydimethylsiloxane‐based capacitive force sensor by introducing conductive polymer to dielectric layer

open access: yesElectronics Letters, 2021
A capacitive force sensor is one of the electronics components used in several electronic devices and applications. An improvement of sensing characteristics of the sensor, for example sensitivity and response time, becomes an interesting research topic.

Virus-Poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) Biocomposite Films [PDF]

open access: yesLangmuir, 2012
Virus-poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) (virus-PEDOT) biocomposite films are prepared by electropolymerizing 3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene (EDOT) in aqueous electrolytes containing 12 mM LiClO(4) and the bacteriophage M13. The concentration of virus in these solutions, [virus](soln), is varied from 3 to 15 nM.

Ambipolar, multichromic metallopolymers of poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene)

open access: yesDyes and Pigments, 2022
In this study, two novel bipyridine-based Ru(II) complexes (E1-Ru and E2-Ru) which contain different number of 3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene (EDOT) groups were synthesized and subjected to electrochemical polymerization both in absence and presence comonomer (EDOT).

The electrical properties of poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene)-poly(styrenesulfonate) films and its effect onto sensor yarn coating

open access: yesJournal of Industrial Textiles, 2022
In this study, the poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene)-poly(styrenesulfonate) conductive dry films were observed in terms of their thicknesses versus electrical resistances measured and related electrical resistivities calculated.

Reversible Protonic Doping in Poly(3,4-Ethylenedioxythiophene) [PDF]

open access: yesPolymers, 2018
In this study, poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene), a benchmark-conducting polymer, was doped by protons. The doping and de-doping processes, using protonic acid and a base, were fully reversible. We predicted possible doping sites along the polymer chain using density functional theory (DFT) calculations.

Ambient Chemiresistive Sensing of Hydrogen Peroxide Based on PEDOT:PSS/PEDOT Film

open access: yesEngineering Proceedings, 2023
Compared with other gas-phase analytes, the coexistence and competing effect of the moisture component has long created great difficulty and technical challenges for the reliable detection of chemically oxidizing active H2O2 vapor (HPV).

Room-Temperature Fabrication of Electrocatalyst for Oxygen Reduction Using Pt Nanoparticle-dispersed Protic Ionic Liquid with Poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene)

open access: yesElectrochemistry, 2021
Mixing of a Pt-sputtered protic ionic liquid (PIL) containing 3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene and a carbon support at room temperature for 3 min produces carbon-supported Pt nanoparticles (Pt-NPs), in which the PIL acts as an adhesive.

Cholesterol-substituted 3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene (EDOT-MA-cholesterol) and Poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) (PEDOT-MA-cholesterol)

open access: yesGiant, 2023
Cholesterol is a rigid, crystalline, non-polar natural substance that exists in animal blood and cell membranes. Some of its derivatives are known to form ordered liquid crystalline mesophases under suitable conditions.
