Organic ISFET Based on Poly (3-hexylthiophene) [PDF]

open access: yesSensors, 2010
We have fabricated organic field-effect transistors (OFETs) with regioregular poly(3-hexylthiophene) (P3HT) operable at low-voltages in liquid solutions, suitable for in vitro biosensing applications.

The Role of Time in the Structural Ordering of Poly-3-Hexylthiophene. [PDF]

open access: yesPolymers (Basel)
An investigation into the influence of annealing time on structural ordering of Poly-3-Hexylthiophene has been performed via analyses of absorbance data on the premise that ordering status is reflected on the optoelectronic properties. Thin films heated from 0 to 100 minutes were examined.

The Molecular Weight Dependence of Thermoelectric Properties of Poly (3-Hexylthiophene). [PDF]

open access: yesMaterials (Basel), 2020
Organic materials have been found to be promising candidates for low-temperature thermoelectric applications. In particular, poly (3-hexylthiophene) (P3HT) has been attracting great interest due to its desirable intrinsic properties, such as excellent solution processability, chemical and thermal stability, and high field-effect mobility.

Molecular Weight Dependence of Exciton Diffusion in Poly(3-hexylthiophene) [PDF]

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, 2013
AbstractA joint experimental and theoretical study of singlet exciton diffusion in spin‐coated poly(3‐hexylthiophene) (P3HT) films and its dependence on molecular weight is presented. The results show that exciton diffusion is fast along the co‐facial π–π aggregates of polymer chromophores and about 100 times slower in the lateral direction between ...

A photoswitchable poly(3-hexylthiophene) [PDF]

open access: yesChemical Communications, 2013
A well-defined main-chain conjugated photoswitchable poly(3-hexylthiophene) with homogeneous hydrogen end groups was synthesized. Opening and closing the photoswitch enables reversible modulation of P3HT emission, which is quenched by 70% when the switch is closed.
