Electroplastic behavior of doped poly(3-hexylthiophene)
Journal of Applied Polymer Science, 1996Dynamic viscoelasticity of poly(3-hexylthiophene) (P3HT) doped with iodine or FeCl 3 under the influence of electric fields was studied. The doped P3HTs underwent a large decrease in elastic modulus under small electric fields on the order of 1 dc V/mm. The electric fields enhanced the loss tangent.

Abstract Poly(3-hexylthiophene) (P3HT) and P3HT/cadmium sulfide (CdS) fibers were prepared in order to determine their morphological and structural properties and thermal stability. To our knowledge, this is the first study to investigate electrospun P3HT/CdS fibers.

Subnanosecond transient photoconductivity in poly(3-hexylthiophene)

Abstract The oxidation of conjugated polymer on the surface of conjugated polymer/TiO 2 composites is inevitable during the photocatalytic reaction. So it is necessary to research the influence of the degree of oxidation of conjugated polymer on the photocatalytic activity of conjugated polymer/TiO 2 composites.

Modeling of poly(3-hexylthiophene): methanofullerene bulk-heterojunction solar cells
SPIE Proceedings, 2006Bulk-heterojunction solar cells made from blend films of regioregular poly(3-hexylthiophene) (P3TH) and methanofullerene (PCBM) exhibit a ten-fold increase of the power conversion efficiency upon post production annealing. We have applied a numerical model to explain this dramatic enhancement of the efficiency.

Poly(3-hexylthiophene) monolayer nanowhiskers
Polymer Chemistry, 2013We report poly(3-hexylthiophene) (P3HT) nanowhiskers of monolayer thickness which self-assemble in a dilute solution. These nanowhiskers are tens of micrometers in length, ∼30 nm in width, but only 1.6 nm in thickness, corresponding to the height of P3HT in the side-chain direction. The field-effect mobility of these nanowhiskers reached 1.3 × 10−2 cm2

Quantifying the Mechanical Anisotropy in Poly(3-hexylthiophene) Nanofibers
ACS Macro Letters, 2020Correlating the structure with nanomechanical property of semicrystalline conjugated-polymer crystal is of essential importance for the performance improvement and design of flexible electronic devices. Although it is well-known that the semicrystalline conjugated-polymer crystal exhibits anisotropic structure owing to the π-π and layer stacking of ...

Solubility characteristics of poly(3‐hexylthiophene)
Journal of Polymer Science Part B: Polymer Physics, 2017ABSTRACTSolubility data for poly(3‐hexylthiophene) (P3HT) in 29 pure solvents are presented and discussed in detail. Functional solubility parameter (FSP) and convex solubility parameter (CSP) computations are performed and the CSP and FSP results are compared to previously reported Hansen solubility parameters (HSPs) and to the parameters calculated ...

Magnetic properties of poly(3-hexylthiophene)
Journal of Magnetism and Magnetic Materials, 2008Abstract A room temperature ferromagnetic phase is observed in samples of poly(3-hexylthiophene) partially doped with ClO 4 − . The magnetic behavior presents a strong dependence on the sample preparation conditions, in particular, a dependence with the final potential of the sample after reduction. The origin of the ferromagnetism is proposed to be
