A Modular Core–Shell Nanoparticle Platform for Dual‐Modal MRI–Luminescence With High Relaxivity
A modular core–shell nanoparticle platform is presented that combines high‐relaxivity magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and long‐lived luminescence within a single, well‐defined architecture. Spatially controlled gadolinium(III) and terbium(III) complexes deliver reproducible dual‐modal agents with benchmark MRI performance.

Electron‐beam induced C–F cleavage in –CF3 generates F−, which abstracts a proton to form the acid that catalyzes tBMA deprotection during post‐exposure baking. This self‐sensitization mechanism enables the precise formation of high‐resolution negative‐tone patterns with enhanced sensitivity and resolution.

White light emitting molecular logic gates
White light emitting smart molecules with Boolean logic computing ability are surveyed. Abstract White light emitting (WLE) materials are of considerable interest with commercial and societal applications in video displays and lighting devices. [2,2′‐biisoindoline]‐1,1′,3,3′‐tetraone (4A2B) crystal with high n‐electrons undergoes photo‐induced reversible homolysis resulting in two room‐temperature phosphorescence (RTP). One of the 4A2B molecules responds strongly to 250 nm via fast intersystem crossing (ISC) processes among high‐lying excited states.
