Pollutants Transformation During the Regeneration Process of Fluid Catalytic Cracking Catalysts
Fluid catalytic cracking is the main pollutant source in crude oil refineries due to spent catalyst regeneration. In this work, flue gas pollutants are monitored and coke deposits are identified. Operando and in situ spectroscopy are developed to explore coke species evolution, coupled with online gas infrared spectroscopy to detect pollutant formation.

Abstract The European Commission asked EFSA to update its 2018 risk assessment on polychlorinated dibenzo‐p‐dioxins and dibenzofurans (PCDD/Fs) and dioxin‐like polychlorinated biphenyls (DL‐PCBs) in feed and food, based on the 2022 WHO Toxic Equivalency Factors (WHO2022‐TEFs).

Abstract The present opinion deals with the re‐evaluation of sucralose (E 955) as food additive and with the safety of a proposed extension of use in food category (FC) 7.2 ‘Fine bakery wares’. Based on the available data, no safety concerns arose for genotoxicity of sucralose (E 955) and its impurities and degradation products.
