Polyethersulfone as a High-Performance Membrane
2011Polyethersulfone as base material has proven its suitability for synthetic dialysis membranes since more than one decade. Recently, a new generation of high-performance polyethersulfone membranes has been introduced, which are the result of an advanced spinning process.

Dominant conduction carriers in polyethersulfone
Proceedings of IEEE Conference on Electrical Insulation and Dielectric Phenomena - (CEIDP'94), 2002With the development of modern technology, the working condition for insulating materials has become even severer. Electrical insulating materials are demanded to have even higher reliability. Good thermal endurance has also become very important in recent years.

Rheological Behavior of Polyethersulfone (PES)
International Journal of Polymeric Materials and Polymeric Biomaterials, 1995Abstract The rheological behavior of Polyethersulfone (PES), was studied using a Shimadzu Universal Materials Testing Machine and an Haake Torque Rheometer. It is found that in an industrially relevant range of shear rate and temperature PES was highly non-Newtonian.

CS/SPES-PES composite membrane was prepared by coating the chitosan (CS) active layer onto the sulfonated polyethersulfone (SPES)-polyethersulfone (PES) support layer. The SPES-PES support layer was prepared by blending with hydrophilic SPES into PES matrix in a wet phase inversion process.

Surface Modification of Polyethersulfone Membranes
2016Polyethersulfone (PES) membranes have been broadly used in scientific research and industrial processes due to their outstanding properties, such as high mechanical strength, high thermal stability, good chemical resistance and membrane forming ability. They have also been used in a cross range of applications, particularly wastewater treatment.
